Edit on a Dime: Weekly Wrap-Up

Weekly Wrap-Up

It's been a fun week here at Edit on a Dime, and not just because I drove around LA for an hour with an iPhone taped to the hood of my car for a review. Here's what I was up to:

I was really impressed with Vidify and Reel Moments. Both apps were extremely easy to use and produced polished results. Mixmoov was a bit of a disappointment, but as I mentioned in the review, the fact that a video editor can work in a browser at all is an accomplishment in and of itself, nevermind the various user-interface problems it might have.

Next week the big circus that is the Consumer Electronics Show kicks off in Las Vegas, so expect an avalanche of exciting news, some of which might make it to these pages, dear reader.

I'll leave you this weekend with the reminder that it'll get a bit lonely for me if I have to always post here by myself, so please do think about joining the community here and becoming part of the conversation. It's an exciting time to be working in the field on new imaging and editing apps, and it'd be a shame if you missed all the fun.

Just updated your iPhone? You'll find new emoji, enhanced security, podcast transcripts, Apple Cash virtual numbers, and other useful features. There are even new additions hidden within Safari. Find out what's new and changed on your iPhone with the iOS 17.4 update.
